Clean Energy Is The Future
On the 1st of June the world was left in shock when Donald Trump decided to turn his back on the other signed 194 countries, and pull out of the Paris Climate Agreement.
This reflects that Trump's voice does not represent the whole of America, with States all across the USA working towards a greener way of life in a variety of different ways. Just one example is South LA, a community group named 'Strategic Concepts in Organising and Policy Education' is helping ethnic groups take advantage of job opportunities within the clean-energy economy.
In his announcement to bring America out of the Paris accord Trump said "I was elected to represent the people of Pittsburgh, not Paris." In response to this the mayor of Pittsburgh affirmed his city's commitment to move to 100% renewable energy.
